FROM THE POTENTATE

First and foremost, I want to thank EVERYONE. 2026 has been an amazing year for Zem Zem, and it's because of our great Nobles, Ladies, their family and friends. I've never been this busy before; travel- ing to meetings, dinners and events, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! First Lady Lisa and I are over- whelmed by the love and support we've received.

Big events coming up are the Summer Ceremonial weekend, July 24th and 25th, and Fall MASA in VA Beach in early September. Please check out our Facebook page "Zem Zem Shriners - Erie, PA", our website "www.zemzem.us", or look in your email for details and registration information. Join us at the Summer Ceremonial for good food and drinks to welcome our newest Nobles. Fall MASA is always a great time. Please plan on attending. Along with the great fun, fellowship and hospitality Zem Zem is known for, you'll get to help welcome Chief Rabban Keith Phillips and Lady Jen as they walk in with the rest of the 2027 Potentates at the annual pageant. Plus, the cost of the trip is $50 less than last year's trip, with all of the same benefits.

There's a lot going on at Zem Zem this year. Come be a part of it!

A WORD FROM THE FIRST LADY

Hi everyone. The year is nearly halfway through, and Burt and I are having a great time representing Zem Zem.

Last month, we went on our combined Potentate's Trip with Osiris Shriners and everyone had a blast. More than 90 Shriners, Ladies, family and friends joined us and Osiris' Illustrious Sir Bruce and First Lady Pam McNeil for a getaway trip to Cancun. The fun and fellowship we enjoyed there was over- whelming, and we made memories that will last forever.

We also held our Luau Ball in Erie a few weeks ago. It was a memorable weekend with over 200 members of our extended Shrine family helping Burt and I celebrate 2026 in style. Looking across the venue at all the people in their colorful outfits was truly awesome! Many new friendships were made that weekend, and that's a big part of what being Shriners is all about.

I have continued to receive donations for the 2026 First Lady's Project. Each and every one touches my heart, and words can't express how much I appreciate the generosity. Tickets are available for the Jewelry Jackpot event in October. Please contact me or Burt if you want to purchase some or would like some to sell.

In closing, thanks again for all the support you've shown me and Burt this year. We couldn't do what we do without you.
